Simple short comics. (Prices depends on the number of times characters are drawn in the comics.)

Up to 8 characters per commission.

Extra character = same price.

No fixed deadline. Please inform beforehand if you have a deadline.

Complicated designs may take longer to complete.

Please provide clear visual references. For instance, references for characters, clothing, and backgrounds.

Commissions will be worked on in the order of when the commission was made. Rushed/prioritize orders require an additional fee that will be discussed beforehand.

I will show you WIPs (work in progress) before I start on the lineart and coloring processes.

Once I have started the coloring process, major revision cannot be done. Please inform me of any changes beforehand.

The commissioner will only receive a digital file of the commission. It will be as a .png sent through Discord, Deviantart private messaging, Twitter private messaging, or via Email. It may be sent as a ZIP file if the file size is too big.

I, Darrel (batter_sempai), maintain the rights to the artwork of the commissions. I do not maintain the rights to any characters owned by the commissioner themselves or from any established IPs used in the commissions. Characters, clothing, appearances, and concepts, both fanwork and from established IPs, belong to their respective owners. All rights reserved.

Payment will be through Paypal or Stripe (in USD). Please inform beforehand which service you will be using.

Full payment required upfront. Half payment may be allowed if full payment cannot be made. Rush/priority fees must also be paid upfront.

An invoice from Paypal or Stripe will be delivered to the commissioner before the drawing process starts.

Work will only start after the payment has been confirmed to be received.

All prices are final. Prices cannot be changed after an invoice is sent, unless to fix pricing errors or for commercial rights payment.

Commissions are for personal use only. Commercial usage must be informed before starting the commission, and there will be a discussion beforehand.

The commissioner must be of legal age, or have the permission of a legal guardian.

The commissioner or any other parties are not allowed to trace, render, edit, copy, or color over my artwork. Whether on their own or using AI programs.

The commissioner or any other parties cannot remove my signature or alter my artwork.

I do not support NFT or NFT related projects such as blockchain-related technology and cryptocurrency. Please do not use my artwork for any such projects.

I do not allow my artwork to be used for any AI-generated projects or content.

Commissioner must inform what the commission will be used for, whether it is for personal or commercial use.

Commercial usage is when the commissioner is generating any type of profit from the completed artwork. This means that the commissioner is buying the rights to use the artwork for profit.

Commercial usage includes: streaming assets, game assets (title screens, CGs, character portraits, etc.), promotional art, stickers, charms, posters, prints, merchandise, Live2D models. Anything that involves profit going to the commissioner.

The commissioner cannot claim full ownership of the artwork itself. You cannot claim that you made the illustration commissioned.

The commissioner cannot exclude any credit towards the artist. Credit can be done by leaving my signature clearly on the art and/or by putting a noticeable description with links to my social media.

Use the art for personal use.

Use the artwork on social media and nonprofit websites. (Please credit me.)

Use the artwork for wallpaper and icons on personal devices.

Use the artwork as a gift for friends/family.

Print the artwork for personal use. (Without selling the art.)

Claim rights to the characters and concepts, but not to the illustration itself and the creation of the illustration.

(AFTER paying for commercial usage) Sell the artwork as digital goods, prints, stickers, charms, etc.

Post the art on social media or nonprofit websites with credit to me, preferably with a link to my social media and to this Carrd.

Use my own artwork to promote myself online and in real life, even if the artwork is copyrighted. For example: posting the art on my social media, using the art for portfolios, using the art for commission examples, etc. Unless agreed otherwise beforehand.

Publish the art digitally or physically, for advertising, in books, etc.

Create timelapse/speedpaint videos of the art, unless agreed otherwise beforehand.

Post or print the artwork wherever or whenever I wish to.

If you do not wish for your artwork to be posted (private commission), please inform me beforehand. I will send the finished commission to you and will not post or use it anywhere else.

Do not use the art commercially or for profit without prior agreement, or without my knowledge.

Do not trace, render, copy, edit, or color over the artwork, whether on your own or with AI programs.

Do not remove my signature from my WIPs or completed artworks.

Do not neglect proper credit when reposting the commission (for example, linking my social media or this Carrd, reference me in descriptions, tag me on social media).

Do not claim that you made the illustration.

Do not use my artwork for NFT, blockchain, or cryptocurrency-related projects.

Do not use my artwork for any AI-generated projects or content.

If agreed that the artwork was for personal use, do not use it for commercial use without informing me and negotiating payment.
